About
Majid in the field with camera

Majid Mohamadi is a Canadian–Iranian fine art photographer and commercial pilot based in Vancouver. His work grows from long hours spent in silence — flying above coastlines, climbing mountains, walking deserts and abandoned forests, or standing alone before a horizon where nothing moves. Majid is self–taught, shaped not by classrooms, but by watching light change over time. His images are often minimal and quiet, focusing on the moments when the visible world starts to feel like memory — when a tree becomes a thought, a cloud echoes a dune, or a landscape begins to speak in silence. Whether in the sky or on the ground, he works with the same instinct: to pay attention. To stand still. To notice what is fading, what remains, and what can be felt but not explained. His photographs are not about places themselves, but about the inner landscapes they awaken — solitude without loneliness, presence without noise, and the delicate distance between what is seen and what is remembered.

FAQ
What type of paper are the prints made on?
Each print is produced on museum-grade, archival matte fine-art paper. It has a soft texture, rich detail, and is designed to last for decades without fading.
Are the prints limited edition?
Many pieces are offered in small, limited runs. Each one is signed and, when applicable, numbered, so you’re receiving a piece that’s truly personal and collectible. Each work also includes an artist statement and a short note about the experience of making the photograph.
Do the prints come framed?
Prints are usually offered unframed so you can choose a frame that fits your home. If you prefer, framing can be arranged on request — I’ll share options and pricing before you commit.
Can I request a custom size?
Absolutely. Many artworks can be printed in custom dimensions to fit your wall perfectly. Just mention the size you have in mind when you inquire.
Do you offer different framing options?
Yes — I work with professional framers in Vancouver. Natural wood, black, and white frames are the most popular choices. I’m happy to help you pick a style that suits the piece and your space.
What is the purchase process?
1) Click “Purchase This Photo” and send your request with the size and framing preference.
2) I’ll reply by email with a personal quote, including print details and shipping or delivery costs.
3) Once you’re happy with everything, full payment is made to begin production.
4) Your artwork is professionally printed (and framed if selected).
5) It will be shipped, or you can arrange local pickup or delivery in Vancouver.
Shipping and delivery are calculated separately.
How long does production take?
Printing usually takes 5–10 business days. Framed works may require a little longer. If you need something by a specific date, just let me know.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — I ship worldwide. Prints are packaged carefully in protective tubes or flat archival sleeves to ensure they arrive safely.
What are the shipping or delivery costs?
Shipping and local delivery are extra and calculated based on your location and order size. This is clearly included in your quote before you make any payment.
Can I pick up my print locally in Vancouver?
Yes — local pickup can be arranged at no cost. Local delivery in Vancouver is also available for an additional fee.
What is your return or exchange policy?
Each print is made to order. If your piece arrives damaged, I will replace it at no charge. Otherwise, all sales are final — thank you for understanding.
Will the colors look the same as what I see on my screen?
Prints are produced with professional color standards, but screens vary in brightness. Expect the artwork to feel more natural, soft, and tactile than a backlit display — that’s part of the beauty of fine-art printing.
Can you help me choose the right piece or size for my space?
Yes — I love doing this. Send a photo of your wall, and I’ll suggest artworks and sizes that fit the atmosphere and proportions of your room.
Do you work with interior designers, hotels, or businesses?
Yes. I frequently work with designers and commercial spaces. If you’re planning a project, I’d be happy to discuss scale, editioning, and pricing.
Are all photographs taken by you?
Yes — every image is photographed and curated personally by me. Each piece carries a place, a story, and a moment I witnessed.
Do you offer online or in-person photography sessions?
Yes — I offer both online and in-person sessions. Whether you’re just beginning or looking to refine your visual voice, we can plan a session that fits your level and interests. Feel free to reach out via email to discuss availability and the type of session you have in mind.
Do I need any special equipment to begin?
No — not at all. Photography starts with learning how to see. You can begin with whatever you already have, even a mobile camera. As your eye grows, equipment can follow.
